The difference lies in the form: in NUI NONI Original, the noni content is a pur\u00e9e made from the whole fruit, and the other three juices are not-from-concentrate juices that were never a concentrate. No added water, no flavourings. And compared with a 100 % juice? There, the noni content is higher \u2013 but only the liquid part of the fruit ends up in the glass. The pur\u00e9e brings the whole fruit with it, and the three not-from-concentrate juices make the drink drinkable without watering it down. By the way, the list of ingredients tells you whether a 100 % juice was obtained directly or reconstituted from concentrate: if it says \u201cfrom concentrate\u201d, the biggest processing step was removing water and adding it back later.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ebook-verweis\">\n<p class=\"ebook-eyebrow\">The test that doesn&#8217;t need a laboratory<\/p>\n<p>Noni fruit pur\u00e9e has the consistency of baby food \u2013 it doesn&#8217;t flow out of the bottle. If a drink states that it consists of 89&nbsp;% noni pur\u00e9e and the remaining 11&nbsp;% is juice, there would have to be mush in the bottle. There isn&#8217;t. So either no pur\u00e9e is meant at all, but thin juice \u2013 or water is involved as well. Both are permitted. The Brix value measures the proportion of dissolved solids in the juice. The ratio tells you that anyone bringing such a concentrate back to its original strength uses roughly one seventh concentrate and six sevenths water. Yes \u2013 noni fruit juice was one of the EU&#8217;s first novel foods: the EU&#8217;s Scientific Committee on Food assessed it in 2002, and market authorisation followed in 2003. Today, noni fruit juice, like noni fruit pur\u00e9e, is listed in its own right in the EU Union list of novel foods (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017\/2470). The fermentation is not spoilage but stabilisation: the aroma matures and becomes stable after about 60 days, and the pH value drops into the acidic range \u2013 measured at 3,38 in the finished drink. This acidic environment stabilises the product naturally, without any preservatives.<\/p>\n<h3>Why nothing is pressed here<\/h3>\n<p>The term pressed juice does not apply to this product \u2013 the fruit is not pressed, and no pomace is separated off. The whole fruit is processed into a pur\u00e9e. That is the key difference from processes that only use the juice that runs off or is pressed out and discard the rest of the fruit.
