EU-authorised as a novel food

EU Union list

Noni fruit juice has been authorised in the EU as a novel food since 2003, following the opinion of the Scientific Committee on Food of 2002. Noni fruit purée followed in 2010 (Decision 2010/228/EU). Both are listed today in the Union list of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470.
